The objective is to fill the 4x4 grid with letters, creating four valid 4-letter words across and four down.
1. Grid Cell Colors: Your Local Clues
The color of a letter in the grid tells you about its relationship to the specific row and column it's in.
- GREEN: Perfect! This letter is in the correct spot.
- YELLOW: Close! This letter exists in the current row OR the current column, but it's in the wrong position.
- GRAY: Wrong. This letter does not appear anywhere in the current row or column.
2. Keyboard Key Colors: Your Global Clues
The color of a key on your keyboard gives you information about that letter's status across the entire puzzle.
- GREEN: All Found! You have correctly placed every single instance of this letter in the puzzle.
- YELLOW: It's In Here! This letter is part of the solution, but you haven't found all of its correct locations yet.
- GRAY: Not in Puzzle. This letter does not appear anywhere in the final solution.
